Alberto Calderoni is a young-motivated researcher and architect in practices. In 2014 he discussed his Ph. D. thesis at the University of Naples “Federico II”. He was invited in several foreign Universities as a visiting critic in architectural and urban design studios. In the PhD program he was also involved in educational activities collaborating in architectural design courses both in the graduate program in architecture and in the engineering master course in Naples. Since 2010 he work continuously researching with an integrated and multidisciplinary approach and favoring both theoretical considerations and practical experience as in the project for the urban and architectural redevelopment of Santa Chiara hospital complex (international design competition won by David Chipperfield and Alberto Izzo & Partners). In 2015 was invited at the Unitec Auckland Tecnhical University as a visiting professor in 2015. From 2016 he is Adjunct Professor of Architectural and Urban Design in the Bachelor Program at the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples “Federico II.
