Maureen Neitz received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1986. Then, she has held many positions in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Actually, she directs a research lab in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Washington, to investigate the genetic basis of normal vision and vision disorders.
