Kristine Moyer Higgins has lived two lives: one life as a successful business woman and the other as a talented musician. Her undergraduate degree was in music education, instrumental concentration, as a saxophonist. She played professionally in Atlantic City for four years after college, and part time for about 10 years while she pursued a career in business. She also taught private saxophone, flute, and clarinet lessons for a few years after college.
She moved to Boston from Philadelphia in 1996, after completing an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She was vice president and associate marketing director at Digitas and a client services executive at Health Dialog in Boston.
Recently, she left this track to get back to her roots in music and focus more on her life at home. She is currently in a jazz combo, playing occasionally at Ryles in Cambridge. Moyer and her husband Bob live in Cambridge and have young twins, Liam and Lexi.
