James R. Hamrick is a doctoral fellow in DistantWorlds, an interdisciplinary ancient studies program at Ludwig–Maximilians–Universität, München. He focuses on biblical reception history in early Jewish and medieval Ethiopian texts and is currently preparing a critical edition and translation of the Ethiopian commentaries to the Book of Daniel.
