Ying Lowrey is Senior Economist at the Office of Advocacy, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Her research interests within Advocacy include entrepreneurship, women and minorities in business, and the role of small businesses and entrepreneurship in the macroeconomy. She received her economics Ph.D. from Duke University, economics MA from Yale University and mathematics BA from Wuhan University of China. Before joining the Office of Advocacy in September of 2000, she taught many graduate/undergraduate level economic courses at George Washington University as assistant professor and San Diego State University as adjunct professor.
